ERMCO safety standards for three phase pamounted transformers

ERMCO sets a new standard for safety in three phase padmounted distribution transformers. Our patented cabinet enclosure includes standard features that offer superior protection against arc flash hazard, back injury, torn clothing, and cuts or scrapes.

ERMCO receives UL Listing

ERMCO is pleased to announce that we have received Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) authorization to apply the UL mark to our line of single and three phase pad mounted liquid filled distribution transformers.   In addition to the standard authorization, ERMCO may apply the UL mark on transformers manufactured for use in Canada.

To achieve UL listing the transformer manufacturer must verify through UL witness and inspection that the transformers and their components are designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in compliance with all applicable ANSI/IEEE standards.  UL is an independent, not for profit, product safety testing and certification organization.

ERMCO makes double stacking of single phase pads the standard shipping method

Double stacking is now the standard method for shipping ERMCO single phase pad transformers. In an effort to save our customers storage and handling expenses as well as to avoid a price increase that offset rising transportation costs, ERMCO has developed a unique patented method of double stacking single phase pad transformers.

• No special tools are required to disassemble the stack.
• It's a one person job that only takes minutes.
• The bracket can be recycled back to ERMCO.

New ERMCO Components Products - Three Phase LV Arrester

ERMCO Components, Inc. is pleased to add a three phase rated lightning arrester to the family of component products. The three phase arrester is ideally suited to protect three phase distribution transformers from low voltage surges.  This arrester is a true light duty distribution class lightning arrester as defined by ANSI / IEEE C62.11.

The three phase lightning arrester is available in 250 and 480 volt ratings.
