ECI manufactures the SURE MAKE separable connector high voltage bushing well is designed for the termination of primary leads in oil filled devices such as padmounted transformers. The bushing well mating interface conforms to ANSI/IEEE Standard 386 for Separable Insulated Connectors and will accept switch modules (bushing well inserts) complying with the Standard.

  • Insulated body is molded of a polyester formulation designed for excellent electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties.
  • The ground shield coating is oil resistant.
  • The removal stud version.
  • Tin plated for corrosion resistance and ease of removal.
  • Uses a readily available 5/8” Allen wrench to replace the stud.

200 AMP, 35 kV Integrated Bushing

ECI manufactures a SURE MAKE separable connector 200-amp, 35 kV Class 3 Phase Rated Loadbreak Integrated Bushing that meets all requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard 386 – Separable Insulated Connector Systems.

 

The bushing combines the advantages of reliable one-piece design with the operating features required for underground distribution switching. The bushing is designed for padmount transformers, switchgear, and other apparatus filled with transformer oil.

  • Insulating body is molded of an epoxy formulation designed for excellent electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties.
  • The ground shield coating oil resistant. The coating covers from the elbow cuff mating surface and extends 1/2” beyond the sealing gasket through the tank wall.
  • Maximum continuous voltage 35 kV RMS.
  • Maximum continuous line to ground voltage 21.1 kV RMS.
  • Maximum continuous line to line voltage 36.6 kV RMS.
  • Continuous current 200-amp RMS.
  • Switching 10 operations at 200-amp RMS at 36.6 kV.
  • Fault closure 10,000-amp RMS symmetrical at 36.6 kV after 10 switching operations for 0.17 seconds.

Triclamp Low Voltage Bushing

ECI manufactures triclamp style integral low voltage bushings for padmounted transformers, switchgear and other apparatus filled with transformer fluid. Select from either 5/8″ or 1″ threaded copper studs integrally bonded to HTN insulation. Varying threaded stud lengths are available to accommodate your application.
