ECO-PAD Types 1, 2, 3
The ERMCO ECO-Pad is a pad-mounted oil filled junction cabinet consisting of source and load bushings in combination with fuses and load break switches.
The photo shows the FP001 Eco-Pad with three 200 amp bushing wells and inserts and a bay-o-net fuse assembly. H1a and H1b are bussed together in the same arrangement as a typical single-phase pad-mount distribution transformer. H2 in series with a bay-o-net fuse is connected to the loop bus internally within the ECO-Pad thus providing a fused radial tap off of the main feeder loop.
At 8 kV the bay-o-net assembly can be fused up to 65 amps capable of protecting 468 kVA of single-phase load.
Type 1 is slightly larger allowing room for more sourcing, taps, and switches.
Type 2 is the most compact and represents the basic configurations.
Quality
- All electrical testing is per IEEE standards.
- Many other tests are made for control purposes such as, core loop loss and exciting current, coil ratio and polarity, oil properties, and multiple oil leak checks.
Warranty
- All ERMCO pad-mounts carry a full 2-year warranty.
- Coverage includes round trip transportation between the purchaser’s shipping dock and the repair facility.
