Le 4 mars 2025, Brad Whittle, superviseur de l'acquisition de talents d'Electric Research Manufacturing Cooperative, Inc. (ERMCO), a eu l'honneur de s'adresser au comit\u00e9 de l'\u00e9ducation de la Chambre des repr\u00e9sentants de l'Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Tennessee au Capitole de l'\u00c9tat \u00e0 Nashville, Tennessee.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Whittle a partag\u00e9 ses r\u00e9flexions sur le r\u00f4le d'ERMCO dans la fabrication de transformateurs et a soulign\u00e9 les op\u00e9rations de l'entreprise au Tennessee, avec des sites dans les trois grandes divisions de l'\u00c9tat - Greeneville (est du Tennessee), Celina (centre du Tennessee) et le si\u00e8ge social de l'entreprise \u00e0 Dyersburg (ouest du Tennessee).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Il a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 l'engagement continu d'ERMCO \u00e0 investir dans la main-d'\u0153uvre de demain, notamment par ses contributions aux STIM (sciences, technologie, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques) et \u00e0 l'enseignement technique et professionnel (ETP). Depuis 2022, ERMCO a fait don de plus de 500\u00a0000 $ pour soutenir les \u00e9coles de l'ouest du Tennessee \u00e0 Dyersburg, dans les comt\u00e9s de Dyer et d'Obion.<\/span><\/p>

S'adressant au comit\u00e9, Whittle a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab Dans un monde en constante \u00e9volution, il est imp\u00e9ratif de doter nos \u00e9tudiants des comp\u00e9tences et des connaissances n\u00e9cessaires pour s'\u00e9panouir dans un monde du travail international. L'enseignement professionnel et technique (EFP) et les STIM y parviennent en favorisant l'esprit critique, la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes et les comp\u00e9tences techniques, essentielles \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite dans notre secteur. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Les \u00e9coles municipales de Dyersburg ont eu l'occasion de s'adresser au comit\u00e9. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de STEM\/Plus 1 du coll\u00e8ge de Dyersburg ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter un projet d'ing\u00e9nierie rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'investissement et \u00e0 l'implication d'ERMCO dans les initiatives STIM du syst\u00e8me scolaire.<\/span><\/p>\n

L'investissement continu d'ERMCO dans l'\u00e9ducation continue de jouer un r\u00f4le important dans la formation de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de travailleurs qualifi\u00e9s. <\/span><\/p>\n
