\u00a0<\/p>

Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative, Inc. (ERMCO) a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 son engagement envers la future main-d'\u0153uvre en faisant un don collectif de $40 000 aux programmes STEAM (science, technologie, ing\u00e9nierie, arts et math\u00e9matiques) et Career Technical Education (CTE) \u00e0 Bristol, Wisconsin. Cette contribution a permis de verser $20 000 chacun au Westosha Central High School District et au Bristol School District, afin de soutenir des initiatives \u00e9ducatives innovantes qui pr\u00e9parent les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 des carri\u00e8res dans des domaines tr\u00e8s demand\u00e9s tels que la fabrication, l'ing\u00e9nierie et les technologies de l'information.<\/span><\/p>

La remise officielle des dons aux deux b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires a eu lieu le 9 d\u00e9cembre.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201cERMCO reste fid\u00e8le \u00e0 son engagement d'autonomiser la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Debbie Hurt, chef du personnel d'ERMCO. \u201cEn augmentant notre investissement dans les programmes STEAM et CTE dans la r\u00e9gion de Bristol, nous aidons \u00e0 cultiver des opportunit\u00e9s qui pr\u00e9parent les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir dans des domaines \u00e0 forte demande et garantissent que chaque \u00e9tudiant a acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un avenir prometteur.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

\u201cERMCO s'engage \u00e0 offrir des possibilit\u00e9s d'\u00e9ducation STEAM\/CTE aux \u00e9tudiants locaux dans tous ses sites\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Brad Whittle, responsable de l'acquisition des talents chez ERMCO. \u201cNous sommes convaincus que cette orientation permet de former la main-d'\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l'avenir d'ERMCO.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

Depuis 2022, ERMCO a fait don de plus de $500 000 aux districts scolaires du nord-ouest du Tennessee, base de l'entreprise. Au premier trimestre 2025, ERMCO a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 son usine de fabrication de composants d'Antioch (Illinois) vers une nouvelle installation de 160 000 pieds carr\u00e9s dans le Bristol Business Park. Ce dernier don est le premier \u00e0 \u00eatre vers\u00e9 aux programmes STEAM\/CTE des deux districts scolaires de Bristol.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201cNous sommes ravis de d\u00e9velopper un partenariat avec une entreprise qui se soucie r\u00e9ellement de sa communaut\u00e9\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jake Popanda, directeur adjoint de la CTE et de l'engagement communautaire de la Westosha Central High School. \u201cNous savons que ce nouveau partenariat contribuera \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation des objectifs et des valeurs fondamentales de la Westosha Central High School, et nous esp\u00e9rons aider ERMCO \u00e0 faire de m\u00eame. Ces dons g\u00e9n\u00e9reux sont synonymes d'une meilleure exposition aux carri\u00e8res et d'un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des \u00e9quipements conformes aux normes de l'industrie pour nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de la Westosha Central High School auront sans aucun doute beaucoup plus d'occasions de se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 de futures carri\u00e8res gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce partenariat et \u00e0 ces dons.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

L'\u00e9cole de Bristol pr\u00e9voit d'utiliser le financement pour cr\u00e9er et d\u00e9velopper des opportunit\u00e9s STEAM pour ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves, notamment en investissant dans des outils d'apprentissage pratiques et des initiatives centr\u00e9es sur la technologie mobile et le codage.<\/span><\/p>

La Westosha Central High School dispose d'un programme CTE bien \u00e9tabli et pr\u00e9voit d'utiliser le don d'ERMCO pour am\u00e9liorer l'\u00e9quipement de son laboratoire de fabrication et pour financer de futurs programmes de certification des \u00e9tudiants.<\/span><\/p>
